Peter graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a Diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 2) in 2000. Following a five year period working at Richard Murphy Architects as a project architect he established Peter Guthrie Visualisation which, through his constant thrust for research & development and perpetual willingness to share knowledge with the industry through his blogging, rapidly became a world leader in architectural visualisation. Peter’s HDRI skies, which he continues to develop and refine at PG Skies are considered some of the best image based lighting solutions available. Peter is a co-founder of The Boundary established in 2014.
Henry studied at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff, graduating with a first class BSc (Hons) Degree in 2005. He continued his studies in Cardiff and was awarded Distinction in his Diploma of Architecture and later went on to win the Young European Architect of the Year Award by the Leading European Architects Forum (LEAF) in 2009. Henry qualified as an architect in 2008 and became a chartered member of the RIBA the same year. Following seven years of experience in the Architectural profession at practices including Foster & Partners, John Pardey Architects, Collins and Turner and Rick Mather Architects, Henry established Henry Goss Architects in 2011 and is a co-founder of The Boundary established in 2014.
Phil graduated from Bournemouth Art Institute in 2011 with an honours degree in Architecture and joined Hayes Davidson thereafter where he worked with clients including Zaha Hadid and Shigeru Ban. His experience covers a broad range of commercial, residential and arts based work. Phil joined the Boundary in 2014 shortly after the formation of the studio and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the team. Notable projects with The Boundary include 70 Vestry in Tribeca NYC and Strom Architect’s Superhouse which featured a 10 sq mile complete CG environment for a theoretical Mediterranean island. Phil is currently heading up several projects in Miami and NYC for clients including Marcio Kogan, Richard Meier and Rafael Vinoly.
Luke studied computer animation at the Moreton Institute of TAFE, Brisbane, Australia, graduating in 2005. Following a five year period of extensive and broad 3d experience in a variety of sectors including civil engineering, infrastructure, mining and architecture Luke moved to the UK and gained experience at some of the leading visualisation companies including The Neighbourhood, Hayes Davidson and Squint Opera before joining The Boundary in 2015. As well as running major projects in the USA he heads up much of the technical R&D in the office including software development and scripting.
Simon joined The Boundary full time in 2015 following a period at Modelworks Media as a senior 3D artist and head of interior CGIs. Following the completion of his masters degree in Architecture at the Poznan Institute of Technology in Poland he established himself as a freelance visualiser PressEnter Design and rapidly established a reputation for subtle and architecturally intelligent visualisation work. He is currently running jobs in the UK, Poland and the USA and is also responsible for running The Boundary’s photographic team.
Jaimie’s knowledge of the Architectural Visualisation business spans more than nine years and covers a broad range of sectors including commercial, residential, arts and planning. Jaimie has extensive experience in developing and implementing systems and technological solutions to increase efficiency and productivity enabling himself and the rest of the team to concentrate on the creative process through work-flows which are appropriate to a constantly evolving industry. Prior to joining The Boundary in 2016 Jamie spent five years at Miller Hare and previous to this a further 3 years at Assael Architecture. Jaimie is a member of the BMFA and enjoys experimenting with both aerial and ground level photography.
Angela joined The Boundary in 2016 in a project management capacity. She has implemented several systems which have greatly increased the efficiency of working methods across the studio with particular regard to client liaison and flow of information within complex, interdisciplinary, international projects. Angela graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2004 with an honours degree in Law before moving to New York City to continue her studies in International Business Practice. In 2011 she obtained a Graduate Certificate in Statistics from Birkbeck, University of London before joining Hayes Davidson as a project manager the same year. Angela also has a thorough understanding of the built environment through her experience at GIA, London working as a rights of light consultant.
