3D Unreal Artist - Auckland

Description

The role of the 3D Unreal Artist is to use the latest gaming technology to create interactive real-time visualisations of unbuilt architecture, master plans and city-scape digital twins. The primary clients are in the Real Estate, Hospitality, eCommerce and Digital Twin Sectors.

  • Plan and produce appealing real-time visualisations from client supplied material
  • Collaborate with other artists to produce and refine content
  • Achieve photorealistic interactive results with Unreal Engine
  • Incorporate and adapt content based on feedback
  • Additional asset creation (furniture, props etc.)
  • Own personal Learning & Development and recording this
  • Prepare learning material for Friday showcase sessions
  • Provide honest constructive feedback to other Artists
  • Contribute to and manage a library of assets
  • Create real-time interactive experiences
  • Lead on one project and work on multiple others
  • Engage in correspondence with client/design team
  • Own and lead projects
  • Work with Project Managers to assist on resourcing projects
  • Provide insight and design expertise when needed
  • Establish lighting set-ups and compositions
  • Create real-time 3D Assets


Requirements

  • Creative eye for detail and composition
  • Desire to move to real-time pipeline using Unreal Engine
  • Familiar with architectural drawings and a basic knowledge of the Architecture industry
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive team player
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly
  • Experience of large scale projects (masterplans or digital twins) would be awesome
  • Architecture visualisation experience using 3dsMax, V-ray and/or Corona is desirable
  • Experience in Houdini and Unreal Blueprints would be beneficial
