Christchurch Airport 2040

Multi-disciplinary master-planning consultants Boffa Miskell had developed a future master-plan for Christchurch Airport describing the vision for transport routes, access, avenues and strategic architectural moves. The Boundary was appointed to produce an interactive masterplan of the airport and surrounding area to both graphically illustrate the proposed scheme to the local community for public consultation as well as providing a base for future analysis. Initial data sets accessed through the interactive masterplan (or Digital Twin) include passenger flow (location and volume) through the existing terminal building in order that the data may be easily accessed by the design team aiding in the detailed design development of the masterplan.
