Northport Digital Twin
Northport is situated in the Whangarei Harbour & as New Zealand’s northernmost deep-water commercial port it was important to present a large area of the surrounding context. The digital twin was initially intended for community consultation and graphic communication. Following over three years of consultation it is now entering it's second phase of use providing real-time port data to operators and port authorities as the facility expands over the coming decades.
In total an area of approximately 250square Kms was included in the twin representing both current & future port designs.
